CDL Delivery Driver and Product Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver and Product Specialist to join our team at Mid Valley Dairy Services. This unique position will be composed of delivery driving and warehouse work. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various dairy farms throughout Western Oregon. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for receiving and preparing products for delivery. This position requires 1-2 days per week driving and the reaming days you will primarily be managing the warehouse, become knowledgeable on products, and being trained for sales. Mid Valley Dairy Servies is a small company that supports the dairy farm industry, specializing in supplying animal health and cleaning products. Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including tractor- trailers, trucks, and forklifts
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provide by the supervisor
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Learn various product offering to enhance sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
• Warehouse work on non-driving days

Requirements:

• Valid Class A driver’s license with Hazmat endorsement (or willing to obtain) and clean driving record.
• Able to drive a 10-speed manual transmission
• Commercial driving experience required
• Ability to lift or maneuver heavy objects (up to 100 pounds)
• Familiarity with using a forklift, pallet jacks, drum dolly, and other warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work as a team on a variety of jobs
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Pass DMV background check and drug test
